ADMISSION FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2008-09

The Board of Directors of Sri International School announces admission for Academic year 2008-09 for Sri Care, IK-I, IK-II, IK-III, CIPP, Lower Secondary, Checkpoint IGCSE and AS-Level Under Cambridge University, UK Programmes. The admission will be granted on First Cum First Basis, Assessment Test, Interview and availability of Seats in each class. Please note that all students admissions are at the discretion of the school Management and Directors – No Objection will be entertained.

The Brochure and application form for admission can be obtained on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or by  Way of a Cheque or Demand Draft in favour of
Sri nternational School, payable at Hyderabad. The duly completed application form for admission must be submitted to the school Office on or before the last date stipulated, along with the required documents.

The school fee structure is as follows:

1. One time fee at the Time of Admission
a. Registration Fee                      : Rs. 5000/-
b. Admission Fee                        : Rs. 40,000 /-

2. Annual Education Fee
This is payable in two terms. The first term fee is payable upon admission to confirm acceptance of the seat on or before 10th June.

The Second Term Fee is payable before 10th November.
The parent can also avail a reduction by remitting the full year’s fee as single payment before 10th June.

3 . Foreign students
Foreign students and those under the scholarship or Financial Aid benefits must pay their reduced full year’s fee before 10th June. They do not qualify for fee payable across two terms.

4. Other Charges
a. Hostel Fee
b. Bus Transport
c. Books, Stationery and Educational Supplies, Uniform will be charged as per actuals depending on the Grade, Quality of books, and uniform at the time of purchase.

5. Admission requirements
The following must be submitted at the time of admission:

• Two recent passport size photographs and one stamp size photograph of the student, His family photograph.
• Birth Certificate
• Original T.C/ Record sheet of the previous school attended (if applicable).
• Original certificates of any Public/Board examinations already taken (if applicable)
• If the candidate belongs to SC/ST/BC, enclose the attested photocopy of the relevant certificate.
• Conformation fees: Admission fee Rs.40, 000,  and Registration Fee Rs.5000/-
  
  Note: all the originals must be submitted for verification at the time of admission.

6. FINANCIAL AID

As part of the management’s vision and philosophy, the school extends a certain quantum of need based financial aid each year to Indian resident parents whose children are meritorious in academics, activities or sports. Aid is awarded at levels of 15%, 25% and 30% of the Annual School Fee. Such parent’s are required to apply for the financial aid through our request letter which will be screened on the merit of each case to decide the level of grant.

The school has a complete and unquestionable right to withdraw all grants if it finds that the student is not meeting the expected/ acceptable levels of conduct, behavior and academics. If is also important for the parent to comply fully with all the school rules and requirements for the grants to be renewed each year.

7. Age Criteria
 
 For admission to Sri International School we normally expect the child to be within the age group mentioned against the class in the following table, as on 1st June 2006. The age mentioned may be relaxed at the discretion of the School Admissions Committee based on past academic achievement and performance in our testing procedures, provided the student has graduated from a recognized school.

8. Interview and Admission Test
 
 Sri International School will inform the parents of the date, time and venue of the interview and test. The testing procedures will be adapted to suit the age of the child and we welcome the opportunity to meet parents. The admission test comprising English, Mathematics and Science will be conducted at the school campus.
