Govt. has decided that with effect from 14.01.2002 Indian students  will not require any permission/no objection form the Ministry of Human Resource Development for appearing in ‘O’ level and ‘A’ level examinations (GCE/IGCSE EXAMINATION OF UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE/UNIVERSITY OF LONDON IN INDIA).  This decision has been conveyed to the British Council, India vide Department of Secondary Education and Higher Education letter no. F.22-1/2001-U.3 dated 14th January 2002.
